Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to convert sales leads into actual sales, manage customer relationships, meet clients in-person, attend and manage catering events, and collect customer feedback. This role focuses on closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing valuable feedback to improve our services. This is a contract position (fully remote) with travel within the city required. The position can be converted to full-time based on performance. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals to build a career in sales.
Key Responsibilities

Convert Sales Leads: Convert marketing-generated leads into actual sales by following up with prospects, understanding their requirements, and closing deals to achieve sales targets

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire service cycle

In-Person Client Meetings: Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their event requirements, provide personalized service proposals, and build trust through direct interaction

Attend Catering Events: Attend GoCaters' catering events to oversee service delivery, ensure quality standards are met, and provide on-site support to clients during their events

Event Management: Coordinate and manage event logistics, liaise with operations team, ensure timely delivery of services, and handle any on-site issues to ensure smooth event execution

Collect Customer Feedback: Actively collect feedback from customers after events regarding food quality, service, and overall experience to identify areas of improvement

Feedback Management: Document and pass customer feedback to the marketing team for promotional use and to the development team for service improvements and menu enhancements

Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate client records

Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and handle payment collections
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field

0-3 years of experience in sales or business development (freshers welcome). Experience in F&B or hospitality sector is a plus

Good communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with clients

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn CRM software

Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual with ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to travel within Bangalore for client meetings and events

Eagerness to learn about local market dynamics and customer preferences in catering industry

Fluency in English, Hindi, and local languages (Kannada/Telugu preferred)

Work Arrangement: Fully remote position with willingness to travel within the city for client meetings, events, and on-site event management
